Rebecca Jill Maynard (Jill)

Jill is now the Chief Deputy in our office. She replaced Mike Whitaker since he retired December 31, 2008.
Jill received the 2006 Excel Deputy of the Year for the 5th District at the PVA Summer Conference on Property Valuation. The award was presented by her present PVA, Patsy Conway, and her past Pike County PVA Chief Deputy, Kevin Auton, in the absence of the PVA, Lonnie Osborne. Jill moved to Frankfort April 1, 2004 after working since September 16, 1997 in Pike County PVA Office.

Jill transferred to the Franklin County Office from the Pike County PVA Office April 1, 2004. Having been familiar with the work when she came to us, she has made a wonderful addition to our Staff here in Franklin County.
She helps in all phases of the work in our office including homestead and disability exemptions, tangibles and intangibles, mobile homes, sales book files and MOTAX. Jill has just recently taken over the GIS mapping program in our office. If you need maps, reports, etc. just give her a call.
Jill received her CKA (Certified Kentucky Assessor) designation September 26, 2000. She received her SKA (Senior Kentucky Assessor's) designation in August of 2005. |

Beverly Herndon

Beverly serves as our Office Manager and works with all our deputies. She came to work in our office October 8, 1990. She handles all the Tangible Personal Property Taxes. She helps with the motor vehicles, boats, motors, trailers, administers homestead and disability exemptions, exonerations and other customer service duties. She distributes the work of the office staff to the deputies and is in charge of getting all functions completed.

Linda L. Barnes

| Linda came to work as a Deputy in our office as a seasonal employee April 16, 2003. She is retired from state government having worked with the Public Service Commission. You may have taken a trip with Shockey Tours and seen Linda as she was employed by them for several years. Linda helps with answering the telephone, waiting on taxpayers at the counter, working with Homesteads and Disabilities, helping with mobile homes, working with motor vehicles, trailers, boats, etc., sales records and many other responsibilities of the PVA office. Linda is working parttime in our office and is always willing to help with any problems you might have. |

Rhonda Brown

| We are so happy to have Rhonda on our staff of tax professionals. Rhonda lives across the Franklin/Anderson line and has a background in the real estate field. She helps us with all the work inside the office. She helps with answering the telephones, waiting on taxpayers at the counter, homestead, disabilities, exonerations, and has really helped in getting our sketching almost finished. She is now working on getting her CKA (Certified Kentucky Assessor's) designation. |

Lynne Green

| Lynne came to work in our office September 1, 2005. She primarily does our field work which includes measuring houses, taking digital pictures and obtaining characteristics on these properties. Lynne is in charge of keeping our vehicles serviced and in good condition. She is also in charge of all the inventory of equipment, etc. in our office for the Department of Revenue. When in the office, she helps with data entry, sketching and customer service. Lynne comes to us from Amerigas, Inc. and we are pleased to welcome her to our office. She is presently working on obtaining her CKA (Certified Kentucky Assessor's) designation. |

Steve Martin
Field Representative | |
Steve came to work in our office September 18, 2000. He is retired from the Frankfort Electric and Water Plant Board. He is working parttime in our office.
Steve helps with all our field work. With his past experience, he is very knowledgeable of our county both with the property locations and also the people. He helps in the office with motor vehicles, answering the phone and with general customer service when needed. His specialty in the office is sketching - but don't tell him I said it, he might not agree! |
